HSBC Premier Box
A pack was required to accommodate literature for HSBC Premier customers. A printed and seam glued folding box insert, to contain a variety of leaflets, combined with a rigid box, was a prestigious and environmentally friendly alternative to other plastic solutions under consideration.
Winsor and Newton brush box
A prestigious brush pack was designed as part of the company’s 175th anniversary celebrations. Combining pack visibility with a luxury feel, this included a rigid box, tiered platform holding the brushes securely in elastic, and a polypropylene sleeve. This all created a luxury feel reflecting the company’s position as the world leader in the supply of artists materials.
Pernot Ricard
A sample pack was designed to incorporate all of the main drinks brands associated with Pernot Ricard. A three tiered presentation box, complete with carry handle and press stud closure, was used as a representatives selling pack. Within the drinks industry, innovative designs for miniature packs, singles and doubles are available for viewing in our drinks portfolio.
Edexcel
A cardboard alternative to a plastic package was devised to hold students course work for the examining board. The package has the feel of a small briefcase, but is paper covered with closure device and carry handle, and has been used successfully for 2 years.
Games Workshop
The fantasy games publisher needed a robust packaging format for sending out “White Dwarf” subscription packs to UK customers. A rigid book pack was the successful outcome, likely to be repeated for global subscribers in Autumn 2007.
U’Luva Vodka
Our single bottle pack won silver at the 2007 Starpack Awards for Techical Innovation. This featured all over spot UV varnish onto colorplan with silver foil blocking. Innovative designs for miniature packs, singles and doubles are available for viewing in our drinks portfolio.
Ormond Jayne
A prestigious single bottle pack was required for a new fragrancy launch at a London boutique in Bond St. A combination of luxorious covering materials, including Winters Beluga and Veuloto, combined with ribbon, helped this pack win a gold award at the National Packaging Council Competition in June 2007.
London Underground
Our customer was struggling to find a suitable plastic solution with a closure device for a training manual pack for LU staff. We submitted an idea that used a press stud riveted onto a rigid jacket and slipcase. This pack won a gold award at the National Packaging Council competition in June 2007.
Sky promotion packs
In 2006 and 2007 we designed 2 separate book box packs to accommodate literature/viewing cards for Sky TV promotions, using velchro and magnetic closure devices. This presentation style gave a real added value feel to the promotions, particularly important for the initial pack, which featured the first time a Sky subscription could be given away as a gift item.
